The curb appeal and entrance were certainly not the only areas of our home that needed a total overhaul. In part two of my little
"before and after" series, it's all about the living room portion of our great room. The wall...the outdated doors...the old windows...the shag carpet...it all had to go!
If you missed the intro and part one of the series, you can catch up
here and
here. Next up is our dining room "then and now"!
Gabbi!! This transformation is crazy good!! I love your playful style! That piece behind the sofa is killer!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Claire!! I really love that piece too. It's one of my favorite Craigslist makeovers! :)
DeleteSo so good, you know it ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julia!! :) Happy Friday!
DeleteYou did an amazing job. Love your style. I have only one pet peeve. I don't like the mirror on the mantel. I had the same thing in my house and changed it. It reflects the ceiling with the tilt up. I think a piece of art would be better.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kathleen! Too funny because I actually love our mirror there! It doesn't reflect the ceiling when you are around and "living" in the room. It reflects the room's surroundings and fun string lights we have there. Thank you for your concern though.
DeleteLove these before and afters! Such and amazing transformation!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Summer! :)
DeleteLOVE LOVE this transformation!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Selidji! :)
DeleteI adore this color palette! It's so stylish, cozy and fun. Beautiful home :)
ReplyDeleteWould you mind telling me where your sectional is from? I love it!
Thank you so much, Carrie! I don't mind at all...it's from Macy's...their Elliot sectional in "Vintage". Hope that helps!
DeleteWhat is the name of the paint color you used?
ReplyDeleteIt's Behr's Gentle Rain...hope that helps! :)
DeleteHow wide is your living room?
ReplyDeleteWall to wall, I think it's about 18 feet. Hope that helps! :)
DeleteWhat stain did you use on your floors?
ReplyDeleteWe used Minwax's Jacobean. Hope that helps! :)
