I've talked about
the inspiration behind this little series, posted
part one, posted
part two and now it's time for the dining room. Like
our living room, this space needed less walls, new windows, no more shag and some serious lighting.
I'm sure you can guess the next stop will be the kitchen! ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Summer! :)
DeleteI love it. And it shows how amazing of a difference great new flooring can make
ReplyDeleteThanks Julia! I love that we were able to refinish the hardwoods that were hiding under that horrible shag!!
DeleteI love this: the rug, the curtains, the shelves, everything!!!!!!!! Do you have a source list somewhere? I wonder where the rug is from?
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you, Selidji! I actually don't, but now that I'm doing a tour, you might have inspired me to put together a source list for everything. :) For now, the rug is from Rugs USA. You can find it here: http://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-trellis-hk85/navy/200HJHK85E-2608.html#. (in black)..hope that helps!
Deletewhat gray paint color did you use? we're painting our ranch living/dining room & foyer with a similar floor plan in a gray too and would love to know what your paint is!
ReplyDeleteOur paint color is Behr's Gentle Rain. Hope that helps!! We absolutely love it...in our lighting it really reads as a true gray. :)
DeleteI love your dining chairs! Can you tell me where they are from? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) They are actually one of my first Craigslist makeovers. You can see the post here: http://retroranchrenovation.blogspot.com/2011/12/dining-chair-re-do.html
DeleteI'm in love with the light fixture above the dining room table? Where did you find this?
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's from Overstock.com. Hope that helps! :)
DeleteLove your home! Where did you get the vases and candle holder that are on the fireplace mantle?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I got them from Home Goods, although I spray painted the coral one. (I forget what color it actually was when I bought it.) They always have wonderful accessories there. Hope that helps! :)
