Our Rancher: Before & After - The Dining Room.

I've talked about the inspiration behind this little series, posted part one, posted part two and now it's time for the dining room.  Like our living room, this space needed less walls, new windows, no more shag and some serious lighting.







I'm sure you can guess the next stop will be the kitchen! ;)

    What a transformation - it looks amazing!!! Love how the dining and living areas are open to each other - so much more functional! Happy Monday ~

      Thanks Julia! I love that we were able to refinish the hardwoods that were hiding under that horrible shag!!

    I love this: the rug, the curtains, the shelves, everything!!!!!!!! Do you have a source list somewhere? I wonder where the rug is from?

      Aw, thank you, Selidji! I actually don't, but now that I'm doing a tour, you might have inspired me to put together a source list for everything. :) For now, the rug is from Rugs USA.     what gray paint color did you use? we're painting our ranch living/dining room & foyer with a similar floor plan in a gray too and would love to know what your paint is!

      Our paint color is Behr's Gentle Rain. Hope that helps!! We absolutely love it...in our lighting it really reads as a true gray. :)

    Love your home! Where did you get the vases and candle holder that are on the fireplace mantle?

      Thank you so much!! I got them from Home Goods, although I spray painted the coral one. (I forget what color it actually was when I bought it.) They always have wonderful accessories there. Hope that helps! :)
