I'm weak. I caved. I couldn't help it! The price? So good. The size? Even better. Before I knew it, hubby and I were rolling out the red teal carpet and falling in love with our house all over again.
We've had these beauties for quite some time. You can even see them all the way back in our Modern & Fresh Fall Home Tour months ago. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to properly introduce you guys...in fact, I'm surprised I didn't shout my love from the top of my blogging lungs! Their bold color and pattern add something special to our space.
And since I've received a couple requests to see how our home is looking these days, here's a peak from January...after my post-Christmas pare down. I decided to keep our home pretty monochromatic for the winter. Lots of blues, with pops of black and white. It felt so clean and calm after weeks filled with holiday decor.
Now that spring is {hopefully} around the corner, I can't wait to add some vibrant color to our space. I'm dreaming of some teal and pink...and maybe yellow. Plus, adding in a little more metallic never hurt anyone!! ;)
i love that teal rug. i really really really want it. but i don't think it would work in our living room. dang it.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Trina! :)
DeleteGreat choices! The teal rug looks great with your front door color! And seriously- that entire space is so well coordinated. I love the pops of blue, wood tones, and metallic. I'm taking notes here!

DeleteHello! Where do you find your throw pillows?
ReplyDeleteI got them from a few places...the B&W striped ones are from H&M, the other B&W is from IKEA and the fur and teal pillows are from Home Goods.
DeleteI love your teal rug! I want to order it but it is sold out everywhere in the largest size. Can I ask what size you ordered? Our couch looks like the same size as yours. I just want to get a visual of the size with a couch:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Unfortunately, it's the largest size. I hope they restocked for you! :)
Deletelove your living room! we have the same couch and rug! what color are your walls? its a nice gray.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! It's one of my favorite colors...Behr's Gentle Rain. Hope that helps! :)

ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Julie! I actually made them. :)
DeleteLove the decor ... I have the same Sofa, actually just picked it up and have been looking for the perfect rug to go with it ... I'm so glad I found this. Can you please tell me which size rug you ordered? I can't seem to figure out which size would go well.
ReplyDeleteI love your decor! May I ask where you got the curtains from?
