I mean seriously...how did I get so lucky??? However it happened, I count my blessings every day to have such an amazing husband in my life. I always heard people talk about meeting their soulmates, but I didn't truly believe in that stuff until Pete walked into my life. There is not a single person in this world who compliments me better, and I love him more than words can say.
So in honor of all this mushy, gushy love stuff, I wanted to share a bunch of pictures from the day we said "I do"...May 7, 2010.
And here are some touches of our decor {some that I DIY'ed}...
Thanks for taking a stroll down memory lane with me! :)
Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Lyndsay! Happy {early} Anniversary to you guys! :)
DeleteLOVE the idea of donations instead of favors! I mean, come on, who needs the typical wedding favor anyway? I wish I had done that! Had I known just how much cancer would ruin part of my family's life, I would have done that easily.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos too. Love the teal color and your accessories and dress.
Yea, I feel like it's something that touches most families and we wanted to do something special instead of the traditional favors that usually end up stashed away somewhere, or even in the garbage.
DeleteThank you so much, Megan! :)
Happy Anniversary! The donation is a fantastic idea! Looks like it was a beautiful wedding.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diana! :)

DeleteHappy anniversary!!! Is it ok to gush over other people's husbands? Because you snagged yourself a looker! And PS - you are absolutely lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Of course it is...gush away! ;)

ReplyDeleteAw, thank you Stephanie! :)

ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for stopping by :)
Thanks so much, Mandy! I'm glad you stopped by too! :)
DeleteYour cake was absolutely gorgeous as well as your gown. It looks like it was a fantastic wedding - and I love the fact that you donated to the American Cancer Society. I lost my Nanny to lung cancer ten years ago, and my Grandma currently has cancer - so thank you for donating.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words, Melanie! Both of our families were affected by cancer and we thought it would be more meaningful to make a donation rather than give traditional favors.
DeleteYou were a beautiful bride! I am sure he feels luck too ;) Happy Anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so much, Kelly! I'm glad your back! :)
