A couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to have Aimee from It'sOverflowing ask me to put together a post for her Dreamy Dwelling Home Tour page.
Head on over to her blog to take a peak at the progress we've made on our rancher in a little over a year an a half. You might even catch a glimpse of our master bath!
Thanks again, Aimee!! :)
WOW, Gabbi! I really didn't have an appreciation for how much you all have done! I think we've been in our house twice as long as you but have done half as much, haha. Must be so nice to look back on the progress you've made! I'm so jealous of your master ensuite. Amazing space to have!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you Kate! It is pretty cool to take a look back at where we started. Sometimes you forget just how bad everything was...HA!!
DeleteI loved seeing this all together, it helps me visualize your whole layout so much more! I know I have seen bits and pieces of your renovation throughout different posts, but the transformation is just STUNNING!! You two have a lot to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you sooo much, Lyndsay!! That is so sweet of you to say! Xo!
DeleteI don't know if I had seen some of those rooms. And I can't believe how many walls you all knocked down!!
ReplyDeleteYea, we knocked the crap out of them...it was such a closed off house before!
DeleteWow! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess!
DeleteYay! Gabbi that's awesome! Going over right now :) xo Kristin
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kristin!! I saw your amazing home on there too...you rock! :)
DeleteGabbi!! Seriously, you guys are pros - your house is amazing and that master bedroom/bath is to die for! Those closets are crazy!!
ReplyDeleteYou're such an inspiration!
Aw, Cara, you just made my day!!! Thank you so much! Xo!
DeleteYour house is sooooo pretty! I love it! You have such a great eye for colour and pattern/texture mixing. It's fantastic. It's homey, bright and personalized. You did a seriously amazing job!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Christine...you are so sweet! :)
DeleteGabbi, I love, love, love it all! Especially the color palatte. Do you recall where you got your mirror and curtains for the master?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Courtana! The mirror over our bed is from Home Goods. There are much more expensive versions elsewhere, but I found it there at great price. Here is my post about it: http://retroranchrenovation.blogspot.com/2012/03/mirror-mirror-on-wall.html
DeleteAnd the curtains are the Geo Panels from ZGallerie. We actually just bought two panels and cut and sewed them into 4 to save some money. ;) Here is the link for them: http://www.zgallerie.com/p-12370-geo-panels-steel.aspx
Hope that helps, and thanks so much for stopping by! :)
Your house looks amazing! I have lived in mine for 7 years and I'm not even half as far as you. Could you tell me where you got the pendant lights for your kitchen? I am looking for some just like that.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you Shanna! :) Of course! I got them from Shades of Light...they are the color seeded glass pendants in aqua. Here is the link for them: http://www.shadesoflight.com/colored-seeded-glass_pendants-B.html
DeleteHope that helps you out...I'm so happy you stopped by! :)
Your home is beautiful! Love the colors and how you've accessorized! Thanks so much for sharing!
DeleteThank you so much, Andrea!! I'm so glad you stopped by! :)
DeleteI'm so amazed with what you've done in a year and a half! Unbelievable! You've not only opened your home up and updated it...you've personalized it perfectly!!! Thanks for the very fun tour Gabbi! Excited to follow your house story! XO, Aimee
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Aimee!! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you featuring our home...it means a lot! :)
DeleteI'm here visiting for the first time after enjoying your wonderful house tour over @ It's Overflowing. I plan to visit often. I love your very up-to-date, but not over the top style and your pix which perfectly represent your before & after!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you, Merri Jo! I'm so very glad you stopped by...definitely come back often! :)
DeleteBeautiful! I LOVE the wall in your master bath! Sooo cool!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kelly!! :) The stencil really helped to finish the space off for us!
